Grid SensAI is currently in beta testing. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept that:

Data may be lost during updates – Do not rely on this as your primary data storage
The service could change or be discontinued – No guarantees on future availability
Backend structure is evolving – Database schema may change as we improve the system
Features and UI are subject to change – Without prior notice

We recommend treating any saved threads as temporary exploratory work rather than permanent records.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Grid SensAI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

Grid SensAI is operated by Sai Amith Chillamcherla ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms govern your use of our AI-powered platform for exploring and analysing UK electricity network data.

2. Description of Service

Grid SensAI provides:

A conversational AI interface for querying UK electricity network data
Natural language processing to generate structured queries
Interactive visualisations including tables, maps, and charts
Data export functionality

The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period.

3. User Accounts

To use Grid SensAI, you must create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Scrape, data mine, or extract data through automated means beyond normal use
Impersonate another person or entity
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
Circumvent any security features of the Service

5. Data and Content

5.1 Public Data

The data displayed in the Service is sourced from publicly available publications. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the queries, conversations, and filters you create. However, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display this content as necessary to provide the Service.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by our AI assistant may contain inaccuracies or errors. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it for business or professional decisions.

6. Service Content

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content and public data), belongs to Grid SensAI.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to Clerk (authentication), Convex (database), OpenRouter/Google Gemini (AI processing), Mapbox (maps), Sentry (error monitoring), and Visitors.now (analytics).

Your use of the Service is also governed by the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers. Please refer to ourPrivacy Policy for more information about these third-party services and how they handle your data.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or reliability of any information

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grid SensAI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Damages resulting from reliance on information provided by the Service
Damages arising from service interruptions or data loss
Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which such liability is based.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grid SensAI and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
